Corrections & Right of Reply

Last updated: August 14, 2025

We correct the record when warranted and provide reasonable opportunities for right‑of‑reply. This page explains how to request updates and what to expect.

1) How to request a correction or reply

Email info@driveawareness.org with:

  • URL(s) and exact quotes at issue.
  • The specific correction you seek (what is wrong and what is correct).
  • Supporting documentation (“receipts”) and how they were obtained.
  • Your relationship to the events or parties.

2) Our review process

  • Acknowledge receipt in a reasonable time.
  • Assess materials for authenticity, context, and public‑interest value.
  • Decide to correct, clarify, append an editor’s note, update labels, publish a right‑of‑reply, or decline.
  • Log outcomes and time‑stamp updates.

3) Standards

  • Label allegations, disputed claims, and updates with timestamps.
  • Avoid publishing personally identifiable info without strong public‑interest justification and sanitization.
  • Decline requests that are frivolous, abusive, or unsupported by evidence.

4) Right‑of‑reply format

  • Concise, factual responses preferred (we may edit for length/clarity/standards).
  • We may add context, links, and receipts alongside replies.

5) Appeals

If you disagree with an outcome, reply to the same thread with new evidence or specific errors in our analysis. We will re‑review.
